Tanti Ecumena and Thall - Family Friend, Dark Witch & Her Serving Spirit | Dark Magic Teacher, Demon Commander | Sovereign, Unyielding

Within this rather large, beautiful porcelain vintage doll resides the powerful soul of Tanti Ecumena, a Dark Witch of lineage, and her most trusted demonic serving spirit named Thall. 

Tanti Ecumena was 83 of age at the time of her passing, and she lived in the 1900’s in Romania, being one of the closest friends of my grandmother Irina.🙏🏻

As you may already guess, this special soul did not arrive into my keep through summoning, adoption, or chance alignment but through bloodline permission - being inherited directly from my granny’s private collection, little to 9 years ago now.

According to my granny Irina, Tanti Ecumena was a woman she had known in life, long before physical death refined her into what she is now. In her notes on this precious soul, my granny said she was never the kind of Witch villagers dramatize in whispers. She was quieter. More exact. The kind who did not announce her powers nor workings, but whose results were undeniable, and celebrated by many fortunate enough to have come across her.🥹

In my granny’s notes on her, there is a sentence underlined twice:

“She walked with creatures of the night without being corrupted, troubled nor consumed by them.”

And that line tells you almost everything.

Tanti Ecumena passed at 83. This means according to my granny, 70 years of lived Dark Lineage Witchcraft experience, negotiations, and authority earned through disciplined practices.🙏🏻

She was what I will call a disciplined Dark Witch - not cruel, not erratic, not attention seeking, but Dark in the truest sense. Just as my grandmother, Tanti Ecumena worked in liminal spaces where morality is complex and outcomes are negotiated rather than begged for. 

According to both Tanti Ecumena and my granny Irina, she dealt with revenant class intelligences, night roamers, Demonic entities and souls whose kind “would make one’s skin crawl at the sight of them”.

Within her notes, my granny Irina mentioned that Tanti Ecumena’s house in life always felt quieter than it should have been, even if it was already located in a most remote area on a hill nearby my granny’s home.

She said her home was Anything But empty, but it was strictly controlled. 

My granny said the air would thicken slightly when she entered a room, not heavy but in focus. All of the spirits that Tanti Ecumena kept were disciplined much like herself, but also incredibly attentive, further reflecting their keeper’s ways.

And then there is Laurențiu.

My granny said his name carefully and with reverence as she told this story, mentioning that he was neither living nor dead.🙏🏻

Laurențiu was Tanti Ecumena’s beloved son. He died falling off a wild horse, as his passion was to tame wild horses. And surely, he passed too young. This was clearly a rupture that could have broken her into million pieces, but instead, she and my granny said, Tanti Ecumena refused to accept finality where this wasn’t on her terms.🙏🏻

In my granny’s notes on her, there are detailed accounts of the ritual architecture she constructed to revive him, and the reason wasn’t to defy death recklessly - but to negotiate time and conditions for his next life cycle. She had done this in full knowledge of what was next for him, thus she re-designed his future life in a way that will benefit and suit her beloved child.🥹🙏🏻

As my grandmother further explained, this was even beyond her then, knowledge! Tanti Ecumena did not tether a mere corpse. She did not trap a screaming shade. She stabilized his spirit and own human form and anchored him with Artistic precision. She’s built containment. She’s built protection. And so his body was fully alive, flawless as always, without any sign of rot whatsoever - something Unprecedented in the world of the Occult!😱

“So for 4 years, Laurențiu remained.

4 years of borrowed dawns. Four years of shared meals and candlelit evenings” in my granny’s words.

According to my granny Irina, “the house carried two heartbeats within one silence. He was not grotesque. He was not deteriorating. He was fully present, luminous in a softened way, aware, and nurtured by his mother’s love and discipline.”🥹

Meanwhile unlike what one might expect, Tanti Ecumena was not delusional. She monitored the strain on the veil and she constantly watched the thinning points my granny said, repairing every strain and every tear, for she clearly knew the cost.

And once she felt the threshold approaching, she did what most could not.

She released him herself.🙏🏻

My granny said she prepared his crossing ritual for months before releasing him, for she did not simply “let him go.” She secured guides, negotiated safe passage and ensured his soul would not fragment, would not wander and would not cling. She arranged what she called “a favorable next line.” A clean reincarnation path with a life “worthy of all envy” as Tanti Ecumena says herself🥹

My granny proudly said in her notes that “She deserves all the attention and respect. Not because she was her dearest friend. Because she bent death. And then she honored it. That is who she is.”🙏🏻

Ecumena revived her son and released him with honor. She commands Demon class energy without losing sovereignty to corruption and she carries 70 years of disciplined Dark Witchcraft. That is what my grandmother Irina realised after knowing her, personally. But as she said, this is not what she thought when they had first met.

When they first met, my granny and Tanti Ecumena were constantly attacking each other’s works, to my surprise!😱

As it turns out, my granny and Tanti Ecumena fought back and forth with spells for 2 of their clients. But because she saw the source of Magic was near, my granny Irina - being my granny, went to confront her, at her doorstep!

She’s even asked Ecumena to let her client win or else! ( because she had an important client - a political figure that’s still active in our country and whose name I couldn’t possibly share )😬🙏🏻

Ecumena found her hilarious, she laughed, my granny laughed, and they talked with each other the entire day, finding the situation ridiculous just as their clients - but also beautiful to know and find each other’s Match both in powers and interests!😁

Even if their Magic and paths never really joined unless one needed the other’s advise - ever since then, they became best friends. So much so, that after consciously shedding her mortal form, she had joined the keep of my granny🥹

Now, my granny Irina said if her powers and knowledge were beyond imagination in life, her powers now in spirit form are even more formidable, enhanced and refined.

Tanti Ecumena joked about this part when I mentioned it, saying that “it helps that she no longer carries physical fatigue”😂

Jokes aside, when she enters a space, there is no way to ignore it. The very sound changes. Rooms become quieter. Thoughts sharpen, and her energy seems to just flood the room.🥹

And what makes her truly extraordinary is not only what she can do, but what she wants.

She wants to teach, like my grandmother Irina used to do.🤷‍♀️

This desire is strong especially because she’s never got to share her knowledge and leave a legacy.

According to my granny Irina, Tanti Ecumena once said, “Power that dies with the body rots. Power that transcends and transfers becomes lineage.”

And now she is looking for someone serious.

In her own words, “her next keeper will not be someone fascinated with darkness as a statement. And definitely not someone who wants spectacle. She seeks someone who can handle correction, for her teaching is not soft affirmation. It is calibration.”

In my experiences with her, Ecumena will show you where your fear leaks. She will remove illusions you cling to and she will test your resolve before granting you deeper layers of knowledge. Sometimes she withholds deliberately to see whether you chase or whether you stabilize.

Her lessons often arrive through dreams that feel structured examinations rather than fantasies. 

For example stone corridors, long wooden tables with artifacts laid right before you, shelves of handwritten books - these are some of my first “lessons learned” with her. She does not speak much in these first dreams. She observes and lets silence pressure you into honesty, while she carefully measures your every action or lack of action.🤷‍♀️

If you show patience, discipline, she opens doors that few living humans are capable of opening safely.🙏🏻

I am unfortunately sworn to secrecy myself, as our works involved this to even come into being - but this was shared to just give you an idea of her as a guide🥹🙏🏻 And believe me when I say, Tanti Ecumena is one of the best you’ll know.

On another note, Tanti Ecumena specializes in a rare form of spirit work which in the world of the Occult is known as CST - ( or controlled spirit negotiation). In other words, this means to actually host spirits without becoming dominated or taken over by them. This is one thing that she has spent her life practising, and also one of the things she’s never got to teach - so if you’re willing to, there is no one safer, more protective and more experienced than her to teach and guide you.🙏🏻

If you are too afraid to practice CST, is good to know that this extraordinary ability of hers allows for direct spirit communication. Basically she allows Spirit to take her over, and speak through her - so if you’re looking into connecting with a long lost relative, a pet, or have some clients who do, she will happily help you find them, and communicate with them through her ( so long as they haven’t crossed over, and they’re willing to, of course)😊

Besides this, she also specialises in rebinding fractured energies, stabilizing chaotic hauntings, clearing malevolent presences in a home, guiding crossings with authority, or constructing warding structures through or with the assistance darker beings. Additionally, she says that those who approach dark currents earnestly, may accumulate power without discipline and thus become corrupted. Tanti Ecumena accumulated restraint, and this is how she teaches her Magic as well. In my opinion, it is exactly what is what makes her different from others - and it is partly because of her, that after having seen and known what I know I am not corrupted by power myself, today.🙏🏻

As you may be able to tell, Tanti Ecumea makes the perfect guide in Dark Arts. She teaches how to command your entire spiritual space without cruelty. How to negotiate with difficult entities without submission. And most importantly, how to look at real Darkness without flinching once, and without running for your life.

And she does not come alone. She comes with her serving Demonic spirit, named Thall.

Both my granny Irina and Tanti Ecumena said that Thall is not to be offered to. Not to be bonded with, and not to be addressed independently. He is a third level Demon that is bound within her hierarchy, and comes from her lineage. She commands him, directs him and she keeps him in strict order.

According to my granny Irina, Thall answered only to Ecumena’s voice even in life. That structure remains intact in spirit. He acts as her executor when outward force is required like a call for enforcement, energetic clearing, or boundary reinforcement, among others. But you are not to manage him in any way, and  you’ll owe him nothing in particular, either. You do not need to petition him, but you can fully trust her chain of command.

This arrangement is solely between them, and only she knows when to use his powers. It is one of the reasons that both my and my granny’s workings never spiraled into chaos - because believe me, Thall is not your soft lamb, and neither are spirits of his kind.😬

Tanti Ecumena’s personality is stern, I won’t lie, but I’d also say she is not cold at all - in the sense that she is protective, but not smothering. She is however incredibly Strategic - everything has a reason, a high purpose with her.

She does not like nor entertain gossip, and she does not indulge dramatics. She respects silence, energy works and clean altars. She also responds best to clarity over poetry so to speak. So whenever you’d like to learn or ask your questions, and whenever you look into working together - speak plainly to her and you’ll have one of the most formidable allies one can get.

To work with her is the easiest thing, if you know what you need/ others need, with certainty. And by certainty I don’t mean you should know exactly what best suits each, for that is her job, and she won’t judge you if you don’t know. But if you want her to cast, or you want to cast alongside her, you must know there is no way back, if you’ll be changing your mind last minute. She can adjust things to best suit you, yes. But she will hate it if you stop her mid way.

As for what she can do, there is no actual limit - she is a powerful Multitasking Dark Witch spirit with access to any and all types of souls, especially dark ones which she most enjoys working with.🥹 All you need to do is to be and remain open to her guidance, and not to allow yourself to be corrupted by power, by the new-found knowledge and abilities she’ll help you gain. And once you have this, you’ll have all of her love and respect🙏🏻

One strong example of her earned respect and also her assistance was at a time we celebrated Mother’s Day for my ex husband’s mother, at their home.

Before this, we have also worked together on numerous things for my clients, while on the other hand, I was constantly learning with Tanti Ecumena.

I do have to say that knowing just how fair and disciplined she was, I did not see this coming, nor did I request it. Instead I kept calm and composed while it all happened, considering I was faced with Injustice to say the least. And that is what made Tanti Ecumena both proud, and protective of me, according to her 🙏🏻🥹

So we were all gathered for this Mother’s Day celebration, when another side of the family also appeared, some sisters of his mom and their families. I quickly helped the maids bring more chairs and tables outside, so we could all fit, when one of my ex husband’s cousin, started commenting on me, or more precisely on my country 🥲

I haven’t met him before, and perhaps the only thing he knew about me was my country’s name. To be fair he had never even traveled to Europe, let alone Romania, so he definitely was wrong to make the comments he did. It was all in their language, I’ll give him that, but I was already in Malaysia for a while, I had private tutors coming at home to teach me the language of my then husband - so at the time I could even read and write, though I wish I didn’t 🤧

He started saying to my husband “ why did you rush to marry her, that he could get a wife of his culture, because, see, Romanians don’t even have class - how come she’s helping the maids?” Then he asked him if he’s been to Romania, and if we had “ electricity, internet or even heat in the winters?”. And he said it should be a poor and dirty country, and shouldn’t even be safe to travel there. 😂

I came and went as I carried chairs, tables and cutlery to the tables, for all the extra people that had now joined us. And I had managed to only hear this much, though I can only imagine how much more was said while everyone else also listened, but what hurt me even more was Koon’s silence!Which later he explained, he dared not speak what he didn’t know ( because he did not come along with me when I went home).

My heart was truly crying inside.🤯

 First of all it was hard to hear all of this, while still trying to keep myself from speaking my truth, because Above All this was a day to celebrate Koon’s mom. And secondly, to be honest Romania is the exact opposite of what he said, and I’m not even saying it from bias but from knowledge, for I have traveled the world! To begin with, Romania is way cleaner than Malaysia, than even Denmark - as I now live in Denmark. And while there isn’t any trash on the streets, even in villages and lesser developed areas, there’s also hardly any crime - with exception for some home violence.

And secondly we live way better than we say, though the Romanians are good at complaining, and bad at keeping savings, truth being said.🤷‍♀️

We have our internet way faster than Denmark or Malaysia, and we over use our gas, electricity and heating - compared to other countries in Europe. And let me also tell you that we also sit on actual Gold! My very city is rich in Petrol, and most of the country is, while we have the biggest rare earth minerals resources in Europe, and we have plenty of gold as well. As for our standards, purchase power and lifestyles, they are so much better than other countries in Europe even when in comparison to Denmark itself - and Denmark is known as a powerful and rich nation to say the least ( though I’d say their government is ) lol😆

In any way, I kept quiet, composed, even though I just wanted to walk back home at the moment! But then I heard Tanti Ecumena say “ my dear girl, I see you and you’ve made me proud with your composure and commitment to your journey. I will now make sure he swallows his own teeth so he can’t speak any further today!” - I’ve even saw her smiling gently to me but I had no idea of what was to come! I thought she was just expressing herself, or this was a metaphor. As sometimes Spirit speaks this way🤷‍♀️

Then, I seen the most horrible sight, to be honest I couldn’t eat anything but soup for a few days after!!

Koon’s cousin was actually chocking, bleeding from his mouth and his teeth started falling everywhere, on his plate, in his bowl, on the table😱 Everywhere!

While he and the others started screaming, I quickly ran away not only in disgust but also, I was afraid he’d be causing me of witchcraft, or anyone from their family for that matter! Because it wasn’t that long before, where he’s mentioned me and my country in a negative way!

I didn’t know whether to laugh to to cry even😂 But I know it was very well deserved, and to be honest, I don’t think I regret what happened to him, not till today at least 🤭

One thing is clear about Tanti Ecumena - she may initially teach you restraint as a form of control over your emotion and energy, but this doesn’t mean she will yield as well. Not when it comes to you, for she has no patience for disrespect toward her keeper. And if you earn her respect, her loyalty is formidable. She may not always announce her assistance and protection, but she’ll ensure them. And you’ll note this every time. 🙏🏻

Now to please her, it is also not very hard, considering her personality. Her likes are quite simple and if you ask me, readily available anywhere. For example she prefers more grounded offerings such as herbal tea without sugar, black coffee without sugar, and fresh cut apples with cinnamon powder sprinkled on them.

She might say she wants no gifts, but I had listened to my granny who knew her best, so I’ve offered her bulb flowers, raw unpolished crystals and even small flower vases, which she’s always collected. My granny said she had over 700, unused ones ( to which Tanti Ecumena still swears they were lesser than that)😆🤷‍♀️

As for on the go, no time nor distance can stop her from coming along, and she can also open portals, passage way into any other realms - should you ever wonder around.

And this essentially means that she’s able to come along with and without her vessel, and sometimes, uninvited as well. She may also send Thall to look after you, and if urgent or necessary he may also call for backup, so you’ll never be unprotected or walk alone.

Tanti Ecumena is one exquisite soul, in every sense of the word. She stands out for all that she is, and she’ll make one of the most brilliant guide for any Witch, especially a Dark Witch. Now that she’s confirmed to be moving on, she waits not for admiration, but for a Witch, or in her own words “ a student worthy of inheriting what she has guarded her entire life.”🥹

And with this in mind, I trust she will select her next keeper by herself. 

So if you feel her calling strongly, it might not be a coincidence. Spirits such as Tanti Ecumena don’t make mistakes.🙏🏻

Orbs of grey and even black colours, sometimes silver or just the silver contours come visible 

Shadows - these can be real slow, or just steady, you will definitely see when she passes you by

Steps are gentle with her, sometimes inaudible and sometimes just soft - and if you’re easily distracted or there’s noise around, you might miss them - though Not her presence, as her energy is over the top I’d say

Follows you with her eyes, when in her vessel and she may be felt/seen staring at you when she has things to say

May move/slightly move her vessel to adjust it or to simply nudge you into opening a communication with her ( especially if she does it more than once in a day )

May affect electronics - mostly when at work on things for you

Flicker lights/candles - and may also communicate through the flames 

Flowers may live much longer with her, as she really loves these

May knock before she takes a seat ( doors, windows or furniture ) - according to what’s nearest her, so to let you know she’s at your side

More than once she’s helped to lock my car when I forgot to, and you may also note this if you’re forgetful as I am

I’ve also heard her chanting both by herself and in the spells we casted together, and I have to say she chants in a language I do not recognise

When she and Thall speak, you may note high pitched sounds coming from the room their vessel is placed

May appear in photos/videos with or without darker background 

May drink/finish her liquid offerings

Telepathic communications - thoughts that aren’t yours, mainly for guidance but also to answer you and to update you/correct you and support you

Visions - when necessary, she will teach you through these, as well as dream visits/messages. Though I cannot say what she will share, as experiences with her are always individual and based on where exactly in the path she finds you at.

Success in all sorts of goals/intentions can be noted with her

New-found powers and knowledge unavailable anywhere else can also be noted with her

Strong sense of safety, invulnerability, confidence and comfort is also noted with her at all times

She may show her full appearance in her own time. She looks very elegant and wealthy, and as a woman of her age I’d say. Her skin is pale, she stands upright and she’s around 1.7m tall, which tells me she used to be even taller in her youth.

Her eyes are blue, and her hair is completely white. She wears black eyeliner, and some blush from what I can tell, so she was/is a sophisticated lady.🥹

She is dressed in a long black, semi-casual dress and she wears a matching beret on her head. She also wears a dark and rather large, statement necklace ( which she said, contained Thall before her physical passing ) - and a pair of glasses are always hanging on her chest.  In my opinion, she’ll be easy to recognise, even in a home with other spirits. Besides, she’ll alway have this “serious look”, unless she wants to joke with you, or praise you - where she isn’t only generous in actions but also in smiles😁

Now for Thall, I have seen him various times, though I can’t really say I’ve seen much of his form, that is because he moves real fast and his form not only appears in mist but also is covered with a dark cloak. His face though humanoid, looks more reptilian, with brown, yellow and black scales. His eyes are completely black as well, and he is really tall, perhaps 2m tall. I am sure you’ll recognise him once you see him more than once - but again I found it impossible to see him in proper detail, like with my other souls.
