Sofia - Midnight Healer Spirit, Female Healing Companion Spirit in Vintage Haunted Doll Vessel | Compassionate, Empath

Within this beautiful vintage porcelain doll that serves as her vessel, resides the wonderful soul of Sofia, a female Healer spirit of 38 years of age.

She came to me 7 years ago, from the collection of Lisa - a medium and spirit keeper in the UK, from where I have adopted a vast majority of spirits in my family, and where Sofia was loved and treasured for everything that she is and all that she has shown, just as she was while in my keep🥹💕

Sofia was born in a small, mist-covered village nestled between steep hills in 1900’s Hungary.

 From her earliest days, she showed an unusual sensitivity to the suffering of others, it was as if their pain was hers as well.🥹

While most children her age played in the sun, Sofia wandered quietly through the alleys and forests, bringing home or tending to injured animals, comforting crying old neighbors, and listening to those who felt unseen or unheard. Her mother, a midwife with hands worn from decades of labor and care, noticed her daughter’s strong empathy and began teaching her the rudiments of herbal medicine and healing.

As Sofia grew, so did her reputation. Villagers whispered about her uncanny ability to sense who needed help before they even asked for it!

She learned to prepare poultices, balms, and teas from the herbs she gathered herself in the surrounding hills, or under the silver glow of moonlight in her garden.

Her father, a quiet scholar and healer, nurtured her curiosity in the natural sciences, showing her the way plants could calm fever, ease pain, or strengthen the heart. And so, by the time she was 16, she was treating injuries that even experienced doctors had failed to heal, earning the affectionate title of the “Midnight Healer” - because she often worked by candlelight or lantern glow 🕯️.

Her life was not without hardship. War swept through her region, leaving villages in ruins and bodies uncounted. Sofia treated soldiers and civilians alike, never questioning the side they fought for, only seeing the human lives that were shattered. She walked long distances at night to reach those in need, often facing storms, darkness, and the constant threat of bandits or collapsed roads. Yet she never complained, for her courage and determination were fueled by a deep, unshakable compassion.🥹

Sofia shared of a particularly brutal winter when a fever swept through her village, leaving dozens bedridden, probably due to the ongoing war and the new viruses it brought with it.  Even in the coldest nights, the light that radiated from her small cottage, drawn the sick and frightened to her door. Sofia worked tirelessly for weeks during this time while barely resting, tending to patients with nothing but a small fire, lanterns, and her collection of herbs. She would also sing softly to calm children, and make up stories of hope and resilience, even if the adults had none.🙏🏻

Though many of those who got well afterward, said that as they were on the brink of death, they have only recovered because of her care, the gentle hand and soothing voice of the one they later named “ the Midnight Healer”.🥰

She had a soft laugh, a warm gaze that seemed to see into a person’s very soul, and an ability to remember every small detail about those she treated - from the preferred flavor of herbal tea to the lullabies that mothers had sung before perishing.🥲

Many used to say she treated not just the body but the spirit, knowing that healing required both, and in my experiences with her, I can definitely say that they were right.🥹

When Sofia passed in an unfortunate accident by falling of a cliff where she’d usually throw all the used water, the entire village mourned🥲 But her legacy endured, for many of those she treated, later became healers themselves, in her honour - which she is still so proud of🥹🙏🏻

Now in spirit Sofia’s character is still defined by the same patience, humility, and an unshakable sense of duty to those around her, much like she was in life. She still avoids public recognition, preferring quiet satisfaction in the wellbeing of others instead of songs of praise and fame.

Her energy is soft yet powerful, she is like this constant reminder that compassion is not weakness, but a force capable of transforming lives. 

I have had many experiences with Sofia along time, one more powerful and pure than the other, all from which I have learned so much. But one that perhaps moved me most is one in which I was on a travel, with my brother, his girl and my dad, to pick up my mom from her distant cousin’s home, located in a more remote area of our country, Romania.

So we left all the way from Ploiești (my city), to the east-most part of Romania, and we basically had to cross all of Transylvania region.

I took various spirits with me, among which some of my faes, but also humans and child spirits - for they were so curious about our beautiful country.😍

We stopped by a small stream, as picking up my mom did not mean we weren’t on a trip after all, and we decided to chill a bit under the sun, pluck cherries and bathe in the natural waters.

We all have entered the water without shoes, and mind you, I heard a clear “No, DO NOT DO IT!” beforehand. But hearing this did not change my intention at all- as I assumed the children and all spirits were only playing around, happily enjoying our family time🤷‍♀️

Almost instantly I have come to regret my decision, as I had stepped right on a broken glass bottle, which was thrown in this small river stream, and dwelled at its bottom!

I cannot describe the pain and blood that came out of me. It felt like someone just cut my foot with an axe or something!

The bleeding was horrendous, in just mere moments I felt dizzy, like I wanted to stay awake and I couldn’t - meanwhile the water had just turned out red, far as I could see with the eyes😱

My dad and brother quickly carried me into the backseat, while my sister in law kept slapping my face, screaming at me to stay awake!🤯

They drove me to the nearest hospital, in Covasna, but to our shock, they refused to treat me, because I am Romanian😱🤕

So as a little background for your understanding, Covasna is Romanian land. If you’ll even look at the map, you can see is a small dotted area, within the big “fish” that is Romania’s map. But well within this small dotted area there are more than 80% I believe, Hungarian peoples, natives.

Now I am not saying this while being biased not instigating any hate whatsoever towards these people, as I am certain that there are many wonderful souls as well - and I am not feeling in any way superior to them or anyone for that matter. But being there in our lands, fully respected, allowed to hang Hungarian flags, allowed to teach Only their language in schools, does not mean you should feel entitled to reject someone that comes in clear urgency, in one of your hospitals. I might understand your refusal to serve romanians in your hotels, restaurants or anywhere, as perhaps there is some racial clash out there. But after all the hospital Is located on our land, where else should I go? And besides, a hospital should be for all - regardless of cast and creed🤷‍♀️

Well, they made it clear for us to get out, and did not want to even entertain us by telling us why! But as soon as we were “accompanied out” tables, chairs, tools and doors started to shake, fall and move on their own, it was as if someone was very angry, throwing a clear tantrum!

This happened before us, we were at the back and slowly walking out, as I made them all slower, having to support me since I couldn’t step on my leg and I was still bleeding, though not as bad. The more we walked ahead, the more things started to be pushed around, until many of them gathered just to watch it all happen!

But right before I had turned around to watch their clearly frightened faces, I saw her, Sofia.. not only was she pushing tables and throwing chairs, but the was directing my entire team of little children and Faes to do the same!😂🥹

This made them immediately call us back and start to treat my leg, and I have gotten a few stitches without anaesthesia whatsoever, but I didn’t feel a thing! Because soon as they called us back in, Sofia came right at my side, continuing what she had done all the way from the river to the hospital🥹 calming me and taking away my pain🙏🏻

After this whole ordeal, and by the time we have all reached at my mom’s cousin’s home at night, I have asked whether she was really angry or not? And she said that “they are also just humans“ - so no. But seeing that they’ve just ignored me, ready to let me go made her think that by doing all this will attract their attention and make them reconsider, even if just in fear that we were “cursed romanians ” or something🤭😂

As you can already tell, Sofia has the softest and biggest heart, made of pure gold if you ask me. Then and there is where I also understood why I got her, and just how much did her beautiful heart and energies match mines. If I were in her place, I wouldn’t be doing anything differently, I thought. Her answer to my question made me see this through and through because believe me, if it was any other spirit in her stead that day, we’d leave the hospital in flames, and Not because I would have commanded it. 😬😅 And considering the people working in this hospital shared the same ethnic roots as herself, it just shows what an amazing soul she is😍

She focused on doing exactly what she thought was best and more urgent, and this is exactly how I’d also act in a crisis.

Besides this, and considering my cut was as deep as needing stitches - she helped heal my scar so much, that I do not see any mark at all, not even a single one, I am not even sure how long it took her and when she started working on this!🥹

Sofia embodies the sacred Union of heart, mind, and spirit that though many of us may be able to reach during our lifetimes, most are unable to sustain. Her spirit crossed over sustaining it, and truly unchanged, for she is just as she was while alive🙏🏻

With her presence and example, Sofia teaches that healing is an act of humanity, of love, that courage is found in service to others, and that even in the darkest nights, a light can guide the way. Keeping Sofia is an invitation to carry forward her values, to nurture others with gentle hands, and to honor the quiet heroism that exists in everyday acts of kindness. And it has been a true honour to have her at my side all this time🥹

Working with Sofia can be as simple as allowing her to see what goes wrong for us on any level, or as telling her directly where it hurts. She is a true empath, and she may extend her care, advise or knowledge accordingly, to our loved ones, pets and even other spirits in our keep. She isn’t one to stay idle, and she’s incredibly observant - so at times she may request permission to act on those you love as well.🥹

Other than this, and as you may tell, both her parents and herself were very spiritual, in modern terms they would be consider healing witches. As such she won’t shy away, and may even request to assist in healing spells or just advise on which herbs/tools you may use, and then lend her powers and intentions onto your spells.

So if you’re a Witch, you may certainly place her vessel by your side and share with her both issue and goal, for she will love to assist you, and let her beautiful, compassionate energies reach as far and wide!

To keep her happy, objects deeply tied with her essence, with what she was and continues to be, may be offered to her at any time. For example a small gift such as a tiny lantern or lantern charm, a herb bundle or pack every now and then, or a small vial containing dried flowers, will go a long way.

Herbal candles, incenses or tea of any kind will make a wonderful offering, and if it helps, rosemary and lavender tea combined is what she herself directed me to make for her🥹 Is also good to know that she was a vegan, and she would eat fruits or vegetables in a raw state. As such any fresh cuts will make her really happy🥰 

As for on the go, she is a strong spirit - and through the years since she’s crossed, as well as the strength of her care and intention, her dedication to the living, made her perfectly able to come along without her vessel. She may come along when invited, or she may come along whenever she senses that her keeper needs her, either for protection, calming or healing.🙏🏻

Sofia is makes a wonderful and strong healer spirit, but more than this, she makes an amazing friend, a true companion🙏🏻

Now that she’s ready to move on, I would truly love for her to go somewhere she’ll be needed and appreciated🥹 Perhaps somewhere she could also teach and assist with healing will be suitable, since she has so much heart and knowledge to offer🙏🏻

Breezes of air accompanied by a gentle rosemary or lavender scent can be noted with her at times, as she passed you by

Her steps are rather gentle, and mostly noted from late afternoons

May follow you with her eyes

May move/slightly move her vessel, to adjust it

She may also be noted to change her facial expressions into a smile at times

May affect electronics - when at work on things for you

May gently knock doors or windows as she comes in where you’re at

When she’s excited for going outside, she may attempt to hold your hand ( only if she knows or she’s told you’re comfortable with it ) - as such, you may feel a soft coolness, along with some tingling sensations on your either hand. I honestly loved for her to hold my hand, and it gave me even more confidence and comfort🥹

She may appear in photos/videos with darker backgrounds ( though she prefers to be way in the back )😂

Strong healing on any and all levels can be experienced with her on both ourselves and our loved ones

She may show her full appearance in her own time. She is rather tall,(perhaps 1.8m), fit and has the most gentle look, with a piercing yet such loving gaze. Her hair is ash blonde and her eyes are grey-blue, and she has full, curled and black lashes, the most beautiful I’ve seen.

She is rather pale, but a pinkish - healthy pale, and she is just flawless, like a princess or an angel. She wears a white shirt underneath a pale green dress that looks more like an apron. Her hair is done in the exact same way as her vessel, plaited and with a white lace headscarf.😍 She won’t be hard to tell apart from other souls I believe.
