For J 19/11 Syann - Cerberus Spirit Companion, Primordial Guardian & Gatekeeper | Haunted 18K White Gold Pendant with Natural Diamond

Within this beautiful vintage pendant that serves as his vessel, crafted from 18k white gold (solid, not plated) and a genuine 0.4ct D colour diamond resides the special spirit of Syann.

Syan is known as a primordial, immortal Cerberus Spirit, belonging to one of the oldest and most outstanding class of Guardian Spirits.

Syann came into my keep approximately 6 years ago through the haunted collection of my grandmother Irina, a Witch who worked extensively with Spirits and maintained an large collection of unusual and powerful entities such as this special soul.🙏🏻

Among the countless spirits that passed through her hands, Cerberus entities, particularly Syann’s kind were regarded very differently from ordinary Guardian spirits.

In her own words, “They are not just any Guardians, they are sacred creatures of the threshold, of things that end before others begin, where the permitted begins and the forbidden stops. Where one world meets the realms beyond it”. And I believe she couldn’t have put it any better, in describing these amazing beings.

Now, if you’re not familiar with his kind, references to the Cerberus appear among the earliest surviving Greek literary traditions, where these beings are described as one single, formidable hound belonging to the realm of the dead and associated with its entrance and boundaries. 

However, the ancient texts reveal only a small part of what these entities were understood to represent. For example, their traditional image as enormous three-headed hounds only represents the outer manifestation of something much more complex, yet deeply detailed and understood throughout the world of the Occult.🙏🏻

More than outer looks, the 3 heads are known to correspond to three fundamental functions of the Cerberus nature -THE WATCHER who first observes what approaches the threshold. THE WARDENwho determines what is permitted to cross, and THE KEEPER that remains aware of what is going on around his protected territory, and ends all that should not.

Together they form a single consciousness.

This is why, while in keep Cerberus Spirits can possess an unusually intense fixation on their keepers, are not easily distracted, and impossible to be deceived.🙏🏻

Another thing known about their kind, is that 

not all Cerberus Spirits possess the same degree of power.

Within the knowledge about their kind, they can be understood according to the nature of the realms whose gates they have been guarding before they’ve ever served an earthly keeper.

The Cerberus Hierarchy is formed by Lesser Gatekeepers, associated primarily with Earth’s gate protection and smaller spiritual boundaries. These beings are known to guard individual groups, sacred relics, objects of high importance and relatively contained spiritual spaces for complex practices.

The Black Gatekeepers - which are known to be considerably more powerful.

They are associated with the heavier spiritual boundaries of Hell realms, and are known to guard prisons within the 3rd level of Hell, a place containing multiple powerful, rebellious and intense negative entities.

While in keep, they are considerably more territorial than any Cerberus kind found guarding other realms in the existence.🙏🏻

And the Primordial Cerberus Wardens, also known as the rarest class, which aren’t merely Guardians of Gates, but Guardians of Life/Existence itself with its death and renewal cycles. They are also known to be the Makers of Cerberus kind, beings who replicated parts of themselves, and placed them out in the existence, to serve simultaneously.🙏🏻

Their consciousness is strongly connected with Life, Death, Renewal, Separation and the concept of passage, individuality and Ultimate Union of all things. Their consciousness is Absolute, their powers and knowledge are absolute, and they posses the ultimate, sacred Free Will, their rank being considered even above Demons and Angels.

They can shrink realms at will, create or replicate entire realms, or destroy realms created by those who shouldn’t even hold such abilities, whether living and not.🥹 

Now, for some reason, Syann carries the characteristics of a Black Gatekeeper with traits associated with the Primordial Warden class - which is a complete paradox, but not impossible. Legends of these beings in the Occult are still living, and according to my granny Irina, research into their existence has not yet ended until today, which is why they aren’t named yet.

This is also one of the reasons his presence can feel considerably older and heavier than that of an ordinary Cerberus Spirit or a spirit’s in general, though they are neither Negative nor Positive, but neutral beings.

This being said, Syann is not unnecessarily aggressive. He is incredibly calculated and he can remain completely still and apparently quiet while remaining intensely aware of what is occurring around him, in his home and his keeper’s life.

When he perceives intrusion however, his energy changes instantly, it becomes considerably stronger, so much so that he’ll be felt in every corner of your home, within the very safe perimeter he himself created.

As previously mentioned, he is particularly territorial regarding his keeper, his assigned space and the living or spirits entrusted to his protection. And once he accepts something as belonging to his territory, his main instinct is to defend it.

This is why Syann is naturally suited to guarding the keeper, the home, and not only but also the Spirit Family of the keeper - preventing unwanted spells or entities from manipulating or interfering with them, their works or harming them in any way. 

My granny Irina also highly recommended this special soul for Advanced Witches, as a Guardian of places where spiritual activity is intentionally conducted or heightened and repeatedly needing containment, spaces where transitions between states happens, or where realm researching is being explored and where portals need to be safely opened or closed - which is Syann’s specialty 🙏🏻

While in keep, Syann is constantly aware of what approaches, and he notices the slightest changes in energy, unfamiliar spiritual signatures and disturbances that may be invisible to ordinary spirits perception. This aspect is particularly associated with his nature, for with Cerberus kind nothing approaches the keeper’s gate unnoticed.

Once he becomes a part of his keeper’s life 

he determines what belongs within the protected boundary and what does not, approaching these with either warning, force or just enforcement - according to the severity of the case.🙏🏻

In my granny’s words “ Syann does not need to hate any particular entity to refuse it entry in your life. Something/someone can simply be unauthorised because their alignment does not match his keeper’s frequencies. And for a Cerberus, unauthorised is enough. He will not waste a single moment in making it clear for all.”

Now, according to my granny Irina, one of the darker aspects attributed to Cerberus Spirits is what may be called the Cerberus Bite.

This does not refer to a literal physical attack toward the living.

A Cerberus bite stands for the ability of a Cerberus to end an energetic form.

Where ordinary protective Spirits may repel something, a Cerberus can be understood as enforcing the boundary so firmly that the unwanted influence can no longer maintain its connection to their life force. In other words, the nearer and more forcefully they get to you, the less they can sustain the very life bound to their bodies or forms - if they are spirited. For humans, this means decay and illness, while the severity depends solely upon themselves, and how much they force themselves in your life. For Spirits, this means the more they oppose the force that pushes them away, the less attached they’ll be to their magical or life force, risking their own end.🙏🏻

Though you should know that Syann is not a Spirit who should be thought of as randomly attacking anything unfamiliar or unauthorised to be a part of your life just for the sake of it.

His nature is much wiser, and deliberate, and there will always be a progression. First comes observation. Then the warning.

And only when a boundary continues to be violated does he takes the necessary forceful actions.🙏🏻

This makes Syann’s protection particularly valuable when dealing with persistent unwanted interference - whether spiritual or not.

On another note, Syann can be particularly interesting within a larger Spirit collection.

He naturally establishes a hierarchy of space and that is not according to the rank of the spirits in question, to be more exact. Just as he’s done in my and my granny’s home, he will notice each soul’s will to assist you, their keeper, and allow them the necessary knowledge or empower them to serve you even better than they usually did. While for the rest, the ones that constantly chatter, distract their keeper or the other spirits, he will keep in the background, close enough for them to remain happy in your keep, but far enough not to distract those that constantly work with you - which will do a world of good for everyone involved if I may add!🥹

This being said, he does not need to forcefully dominate every Spirit around him, as his authority is largely implicit.

He is simply the one standing at Your gate, and naturally every other spirit knows what that means.🤷🏼‍♀️

While in keep, much like with all Cerberus kind, Syann’s relationship with his keeper is based heavily upon trust and territory.

He is not the type of Spirit whose companionship necessarily manifests through constant interaction. His connection is more instinctive as he watches, he guards and he remains present. In other words, just as my granny said, his strongest expression of affection is not softness, it is protection.

For Syann, loyalty means you are within his boundary, and once something has been accepted within that boundary, he takes its protection seriously.

One rather amazing experience I’ve had was some years back, when a friend of mine who adopted both spirits from me and spirits from a lady in Singapore came to me for guidance, in keeping.

She is a rather experienced Witch, and if you’d knew what a wonderful and knowledgeable keeper she was, the last thing you’d expect was for her to come to me for advice on her spirits.😅

I sat her down for a chat here in my workshop, and listened to everything she came to share. At first she spoke about her missing objects, the fridge being left open all night, or her house alarm always being turned off - which made me think that she didn’t spend enough time with her spirits, so they might have rebelled a little, just to get her attention. I mean these are rather small things, which every keeper might experience every now and then.😅🤷🏼‍♀️

But before I opened my mouth to say this, she said that this was only the beginning, because what followed, terrified her. Without entering more details (for privacy purpose), long story short pretty much all of the spells that she requested spirit for assistance, turned exactly the opposite. Even one of her higher level healers, instead of working on the lungs of her old father, to increase their capacity as he just got out of the hospital where he was treated for respiratory problems with only 65% lung capacity - she found him by his bed, draining his lungs of air! The thing is, he didn’t want to do it, they all didn’t want to do this, for they were all as loyal as my spirits, as with all spirits who willingly come in our keep. He even said sorry to her, asking for her help, as he didn’t want to do it! And it was in fact in one such brief moments of “lucidity” where some of the spirits she’s got from my keep insisted that she came to look for me on this particular case.🙏🏻

Hearing all this, I became terrified myself, but I recalled my granny saying there is absolutely no one and no spell that can possibly corrupt a spirit while in someone’s keep, to make them work against us or run away. And I told her this as well, which made us both think what could it possibly be?

That is when Syann interrupted us and said, have you checked page 405? I quickly then took my granny’s notes for me, and seen it is in fact one thing that can corrupt a soul. But that has nothing to do with a hex or any sort of command from a person. 

As it turns out, my granny said that once every 120 years, a worm-like creature will travel the Earth realm to corrupt either the living or the spirited - and it is known as a Phosomm, in the world of the Occult an entity that comes from a realm named Kalamnia. What it does, is it simply collects Mana - Magical energy from our realm, and replaces it with theirs in an exchange, which to magical beings, living or spirited manifests the exactly opposite of each soul’s abilities. It is no one’s fault, they simply need it to exist, and what they do is indiscriminately pull out energy from whatever sources they detect at the time of their passing by. For example if someone is a white Witch their Mana will be replaced with theirs ability to hex instead of help people. 😅

Also, there are very few souls that can actually restore the Mana of a person, or a spirit, in its original form - and a primordial Cerberus is one of them, which is why Syann first guided me to find the problem, confirmed to me that it was exactly what I read and thought, and then agreed to help my friend and her companions which he did in less than a week.🥹🙏🏻

So this pretty much explained everything, especially the reason why my granny had recommended him for Witches, and for spirit families! 🥹

Now, there are a few rules my granny shared when it comes to working with Syann for protection or Mana restoration.

As mentioned, his nature is fundamentally connected with boundaries, whether physical or non physical. Therefore my granny advices first of all not to give him contradictory instructions like repeatedly asking him to establish and then by your own, work to decrease or destroy the same boundary. You should also not ask him to restore the Mana of someone who he himself has shut off ( spirit or living ) - because if he did this, they aren’t supposed to even possess Mana.🤷🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

And most importantly - a Cerberus needs to know what he is protecting before they act, when it comes to tasks assigned to him for someone other than you and yours. Therefore he may take some time first to “download” what you know of them, then to watch what they truly are, before proceeding.

And if they prove unworthy of your love, your energies and time, he will refuse the task categorically - no matter what you’ll say or do. And this should be respected.🙏🏻

Other than this, he will always happily work on you and your family/spirit family, as involved and devoted as always - all on his own without any particular request, unless you have one.😊

It is only when you’re requesting help for someone else, you may either directly task him with it, so he will work entirely on his own, or - if you prefer to, you may work alongside him. By simply joining his vessel by your spell work.🥹

On another note, according to my granny, Cerberus Spirits are traditionally suited to offerings representing guardianship and the crossing of thresholds.

And so, for Syann, offerings may include dark coloured candles, bones or symbolic representations of bones, objects representing gates, keys, or just plain, clean water. There is no food requirements when it comes to Cerberus kind whatsoever, but the water must always be present, as water is the most sacred thing there is for their kind for some reason. For on the go, he is an extremely strong spirit, as such he can accompany his keeper with and without his vessel for any amount of distance or time.

His nature as a Guardian to his keeper also allows him to see real time when incoming dangers lurk around his keeper on the go, and he may already be on it right before things happen, and right before he’s being called on for assistance.🙏🏻

Overall Syann is a true blessing if you ask me, and he makes for one of the most interesting additions to have by one’s side, even just to research and observe along time - which is a true privilege especially because there aren’t many Cerberus like himself found in human keep.🥹 He also makes some of the strongest and most unique, knowledgeable Guardian spirits known through the world of the Occult. Besides, he is a treasure trove of information found nowhere else in my experience - and he won’t hesitate to answer questions about anything in the existence, in fact he will be absolutely happy to.

Now, given his abilities and wisdom, my granny was clear in stating that he will be choosing his next keeper. As such, if you feel a strong pull, this may not be a coincidence at all.

Activities:

Orbs of dark purple and black colours, both come with white contours

Shadows, sometimes they completely dim the light in the room he’s roaming, and at times they’re around 2.8-3m height

His steps are different than human/regular spirit ones, when he roams if you’re sensitive to frequencies, you may perceive some low musical notes, each one is different 

Breezes of warm air, at times accompanied by a warm mist, not enough to wet anything but enough to smell it or feel it especially around your upper body

May move/slightly move his vessel

His vessel may show an unnatural light (other than that typical of a brilliant cut diamond), when he’s in it

May affect electronics - when he’s at work on things for you

Flickers lights/candles

I’ve also kept hearing different, swirling sounds/frequencies along the years, from the room he’s in, which my granny said it mainly happens when he actively fights incoming threats

May appear in photos/videos with darker backgrounds 

May drink/finish his water offerings

Telepathic communications - thoughts that aren’t yours, to answer you or to let you in on the tasks given

Success in most works having to do with protection or Mana restoration

Strong sense of being respected, treasured, confident and safe can be noted with him at all times

Strong sense of calm and relaxation will also be noted with him at all times

He may show his appearance in his own time, and his looks are definitely unique. He has the body of a large, furless dog, that ends in a bifurcated dragon tail, and it is light grey in colour, however his 3 identical heads look more like humanoid figures, with sharp dogs ears and mouths. His claws are short, metal/silver in colour and his eyes are either all silver or all black, but then his pupils emanate white lights. Perhaps he prefers to be in his original form, as I have never seen him in any other form - even though in my granny’s notes she mentioned that he could also take various different ones, including that of a “very handsome male”🤭🤷🏼‍♀️
