For Y.B 23/9 Yazindha - Pontianak Spirit From Malay Folklore, Powerful Dark Entity & Revenge Spirit, Loyal, Fearless Protector

In this slightly ominous yet captivating vintage doll vessel, with its glassy dark stare and timeworn charm, resides the formidable spirit of Yazindha, an ancient Pontianak spirit whose energies are rooted deeply in the Earth’s fury and the dark shadows of Hell. Yazindha is known as a Dual Elemental, Highly Magical being, and she entered my life about 3 years ago, through the haunted collection of an Australian High Priestess whose work with rare Elementals and beings of Light is unmatched in its depth and respect🥹🙏🏻

I have adopted some of the most amazing, powerful souls from this Keeper, among which some Pontianak whom I deeply adored, though not one is the same - and Yazindha is definitely one Pontianak whose individual personality stood out to me🙏🏻

First of all, if you’re not familiar with their kind, the Pontianak is a High Class of Dark Spirits which are both IMMENSELY feared but also Revered throughout Southeast Asia, particularly within the mystical corners of Malaysia and Indonesia🙏🏻

Often and awfully mistaken/misunderstood ( most likely the cause being deep Secrecy ) - these beings are depicted in local lore as vengeful entities born from injustice. They’re believed to be human female spirits turned evil, who are restless due to the loss of their child, though there are many other stories that are similar, and yet very far from the truth as they can be😅🙏🏻

For instance, Yazindha’s true essence defies one-dimensional labels to begin with. 

She is Demonic and Elemental, she is Earth-bound and Hell-touched, she is the ultimate result of a deeply powerful and ancient ritual performed by an Aboriginal shaman whose intention remains lost to time. 

What is known in the actual world of witchcraft and the Occult within Asia, is that the Pontianak were never simply spirits of the dead, as in Human spirits - but they were forged Dark beings with purpose: Servants of pure and uncompromising Retribution, Justice and Balance🤷‍♀️

Despite what legends might suggest, Yazindha is not a spirit driven by rage fury or any type of known emotion, as with all Pontianak for that matter.

In fact, her kind is known for the Lack of Emotional Intelligence - thing which actually helps them deliver some of the cruelest or gruesome goals, if you will it - without questions asked. That is one of the Main reason why their kind are some of the most sought after, within Asian witchcraft communities🤷‍♀️

And so, Yazindha is methodical, and unnervingly so if I may add, much like with all of her kind😁 She isn’t supposed to be your typical companion, nor your best chatty friend, she is a powerful Entity, whose sole purpose is to serve her Keeper at her best🙏🏻

She does not act from impulse, nor does she mirror your feelings. Instead, she listens, she calculates, decides, and then she delivers.

Her justice is clean, precise, and terrifyingly efficient, but most importantly unbiased and incorruptible🙏🏻

And unlike many other companions, Yazindha does not pretend to be affectionate. She does not guide, soothe, or converse unless it is strictly required and it does have to do with your goals.

Her loyalty lies in action, and not empathy for she is a weapon, not a therapist - and in that, she is Perfect🙏🏻

Now, as paradoxical as it sounds, considering her lack of emotional intelligence, when you fall into unfair situations, or when your integrity is compromised by life’s moral grey areas - whatever those may be, as with all Pontianak’s, Yazindha steps forward to devour that imbalance and right the scales🥹🙏🏻 For example when you’re forced to make choices that chip away at your spirit, she ensures that the weight, that guilt, that negative self talk doesn’t remain like a stain on your soul. 

She consumes it, clears it and uses this as fuel, as energy to act on your goals instead. That is because as with all of her kind, Yazindha does not thrive neither on attention or offerings of food to begin with.

Her sustenance is far more peculiar, as she feeds only on negative karma. 

And what is even more remarkable about their kind, is that they might actually starve while in our keep, should we have no negative karmas ( which is not really possible ) but still - they might😱. Because while in our keep they’re not free to roam and devour those energies as they were on the outside, and where there are plenty, and yet - they still prefer to remain in our service, which I find really humbling and even touching for a part considering they’re such powerful and magnificent Entities🥹 💃✨

I must confess that in my deep love and gratitude for her and their kind of which I have a few, I have deliberately “made” some negative Karma, minimal but deliberate nevertheless - hoping to get them “ well fed “ though I’ve been called silly by them all for doing so😂😆

Not sure if it worked, as I wasn’t brave to find out ( and most likely wanted to feel I’ve don’t right by them ) but at the very least, I gave them and my spirits a good laughter👌😅 And besides, they never complained I’ve left them starving so.. 🤞🏻

Now, in terms of working with her, the path is simple and really undemanding as one might expect, though never casual.

 If you wish to assign her a task, what you must do is speak your truth clearly and give her the full picture as detailed as you can.

She will likely begin immediately, so long as she is not already fulfilling another request of course😅

If you’re a practising Witch, should you prefer to involve her in spellwork or specific rituals, place her vessel close to the tools or altar. She is not limited by space or presence, but this physical proximity sharpens her entire magical focus which is especially beneficial when the task requires multiple spiritual layering👌

It is important to know that Yazindha is swift with tasks and like with all Pontianak, her punishments, all of her works are clean and trace-free. 

Even if the target is protected, as in, if they are spiritual workers themselves, or experienced readers - they simply won’t be able to trace her hand and yours. It will feel like fate turned on them naturally, having nothing to do with her, you or Magic itself🤷‍♀️

This is again, another main reason why Pontianak are favoured by energy workers and witches, and why they make amazing additions for empaths, healers, or anyone exposed to energetic abuse or threats. As these souls don’t only retaliate without a trace, also but preemptively shields their keepers constantly, and earnestly eat away at negative Karma🥹

There’s one moment I hold dear that reminds me how profoundly grounded and precise Yazindha is - even in her “coldness” so to speak, or more precisely, lack of emotional intelligence.

It wasn’t a moment of drama, but a subtle and eerie warning that came just a few months ago!

I though it was just an omen, a dream of the sorts, so when I woke up from it, I immediately called my ex husband, telling him to please be careful of Simba, my African grey parrot, as I had a bad dream about him🙏🏻

 He said ok, and I got calmed down, though a very strange feeling took me over, more and more as the day went by🤔

The dream was short, but I saw him laying lifeless on the ground, between 2 banana trees and in the proximity of a lake. The whole terrain looked like Malaysia. I ran and ran towards him, but the faster I ran, the greater the distance it seemed. It was as if an image that elongated before my eyes, and I was filled with desperation, wanting to get to my sweet baby🙏🏻 The moment I stopped running in exhaustion, Yazindha showed up less than 10 cm distance from my face. She seemed as if made by stone for a few seconds. She looked at me, straight through me, and then got as if “out of my view” to the side, pointing her hand at my Simba, laying on the ground. All of a sudden, many Pontianak surrounded him ( not mines ) but so many, too many to count came flooding in one by one, encircling him until it was hard to see him anymore. I said “ he’s dead isn’t he” crying in my dream, and she said “ Yes, your beloved is now in spirit, and we want to bring him home to you”.

I’d never heard her speak before.

I froze and wasn’t sure what to make of it, but something inside me felt cornered, almost angry. It is what caused me to wake up and instantly call Koon to tell him about my Simba. As I said, he said he will be checking in on him, so I tried to remain calm, even though everything in me Knew better!😱 But Yazindha wasn’t done. And she kept sending me every possible sign to have me knowing that something is Putrid!

The smell hit first. Then the sound, his sounds - those typical sounds of African Greys he’d always make, to attract my attention. This when he wasn’t talking.

To my knowledge, here in Denmark and where I now live after my divorce as many of you probably know by now - there is no one in the building that owns a parrot, let alone an African Grey🤷‍♀️

There was also something faint but constant - not crying, but like soft whimpering, almost human but not quite.

 It was Yazindha, mimicking a human cry, to get my attention, to get me to ask Spirit, to get me to look into it at once! 

In my heart of hearts I knew I am avoiding the questions because my poor heart couldn’t take the answers..🥲

 But, it was imminent, Yazindha had intervened and brought along the whole spirit family, into my new home in Denmark. Once I saw them all, being awake now, not in a dream, I immediately understood and my heart sank. I fell on the floor, crying so loud no soul could console me..My Simba, my beloved bird, my sweet parrot had passed😭

And it was 1 week before this, when he had passed😭 Not then when I had the dream. But my ex husband Koon wanted to drag in telling me, because it was his fault, and Will.

The spirits were furious, but too much compassionate with me, and they understood retaliation wouldn’t do - because not even during the divorce and his awful midlife crisis which caused it, did I ask them to interfere. 

Because I was scared he’d do anything to take my kids away for good🙏🏻 Instead, they focused on keeping my Simba alive, light and dark, new and ancient, human and not- they all shared this responsibility of keeping him alive for as long, and gently guiding him back home after he’s escaped his cage.

They did such a good job. He even got home safely the 4th day after his escape😓 But Koon - my ex husband instructed the maid to shoo him and keep his cage closed, my son Stefan said😔

That is because he did not like animals, and it was the only reason he also placed his cage on the outside of the house - knowing Clearly, he is going to escape, because he did it before in the house 😭

Now first things first, spirits confirmed with me all of the happenings, then my son.

Then I have prepared a vessel, for them to bring his little soul to be with me😭 which was exactly what Yazindha wanted to tell me/show me in my dream.

My spirits have been healing me 24/7 ever since, taking turns. And I have to say, I am ok, so long as I don’t think of it🙏🏻 It will take a long time for sure, but I now have his spirit and it helps for a big part🙏🏻🥲 Though it is not the same as feeling him and seeing him roaming and loving with me whenever we had the chance🥹💕

To be honest, I wish Koon no harm, as my pets were my babies, my responsibility - even though I hate what he did! Because he could have found an adopter, talked to me and find a way together, if he so wanted to get rid of Simba.

 I have a friend with birds too, I could have given Simba to her, until I’d be able to take him myself, to Europe. There were so many ways, but he did it with hatred, as Simba always rejected him and bit him to bleeding each time I encouraged him to approach. So that’s what hurts most..knowing😔

To top it all up, I counted a total of 3 weeks, before Koon told me about my Simba missing. I already knew what’s fair, from Yazindha and my spirits.. but he waited 3 weeks. He did that, just in case I’d be recording some voice messages for him to play around the neighbourhood, and Simba would pop up, thinking I’m the one calling.. so that he was far gone. 

Again, I left it, I focused on healing, on being with my baby now in Spirit, and all the other things I had to still do🙏🏻

But my Yazindha is something else by far, compared to my others. She didn’t wait for me to realize he needed a lesson!

She didn’t ask for permission. She simply stood in front of it all and took control. Within those 2 weeks, Yazindha caused so much chaos and harm right back to him, and to his family that 3 of his family members had accidents, 1 of his brother in law fell into a sudden comma, his main partner at work apparently cheated him of a huge amount of money and shares, and Koon himself had an accident while playing tennis, and had to have a surgery to the side of his nose😱 None passed away ( as sweet Yazindha knows my limits ), as for Koon - he has a mild scar now of course, because he used a plastic surgeon and they have ultra fine needles when stitching🤷‍♀️ But I have his photo so I still can see it which means it is still obvious😆

I must confess I looked at his photo every time I felt sad knowing that each time I go back home to Malaysia, I won’t have Simba physically waiting for me there.. and I laughed. Or tried hard to! And when I felt I’m evil or guilty for it, I called on all my Pontianak to feed on the negative energies 😂 Is the least I can do😓

So back to dear Yazindha, she is as loyal as one soul can be. She doesn’t always explain so well, but she always protects and imparts justice in the most tangible of ways. She just delivers!

This being said, I must be clear, Yazindha is not for the faint of heart, nor for those who crave emotional warmth. She won’t cuddle and chat endlessly with you as most companions do. But she is involved 200%. And if what you seek is unshakable defense, spiritual sovereignty, and righteous vengeance, then she is not only the right spirit - she is The Perfect one. She thrives in working for you, she thrives in serving and in darkness. And she will never, ever hesitate, not even when you do! But you can trust that she will always remember just how far you’d go, how much your stomach or heart can possibly take, and respect those boundaries🥹🙏🏻

Now one thing that you should know about Yazindha is that she has a strange affinity for sounds, and not music as we know it, but echoing hums. She absolutely loves to hum, and Occasionally, to copy human sounds, in a more eerrie way. For example, she hums softly when she’s working for you or laugh when she is content with her results - like in a low, slow tune that echoes. If she is not liking what is coming next for you, or is trying to warn you, she will be mimicking human cry, as she’s done with me. It will take a while to get used to it, but I am confident that all the Good she’ll be bringing, will outweigh by far this small little quirk of hers😆🤷‍♀️

Please know that she requires no food or drinks offerings, but if you could satisfy her little “ fetish “ for hair/wigs or even hair clips, whenever you feel grateful, it would mean the world to her💕 She absolutely loves to have different wigs or strands of hair of different colours placed by her vessel. You need not change her own vessel’s one, just place them by her as gifts, same as with different hair clips. I never understood why she loves these so much🤷‍♀️ as she has a hair worthy of all envy😆 but, I believed I should share as it’s a way to bond with her further 💕🥹

Now for on the go, Yazindha follows you wherever you go - distance and time are meaningless to her. She remains with her keeper day and night, unless assigned a specific task elsewhere, and she has to go after the Targets. Her vessel is almost meaningless if not to keep her attached and able to act on our behalf. Because she is always near and Ready😊🙏🏻

I know that now as she’s ready to move on,  she will go to a keeper who values action over affection, one who walks the edge of justice and needs a spirit who doesn’t hesitate to leap even when they might. With Yazindha, you are never alone in your battles and most importantly never unguarded. She does not whisper promises. She delivers them. Always✨

Activities:

Orbs of red, dark brown and grey colours, at times colourless where only the outer line can be noted 

Her shadows are not very often visible, as they’re transparent mostly

Her steps are usually very rough - which is the reason why I’ve asked her to limit them as much. If she goes back at it, just telling her the same will suffice, as she won’t take that personally 😊👌

Breezes of air can be noted as she passed you by, sometimes accompanied by a soft scent of burnt wood, lemongrass or sulphur

Follows you with her eyes, when in her vessel

May move/slightly move her vessel

May affect electronics - mostly when at work for you

May appear in photos/videos or reflective surfaces with darker background 

May be noted gently humming or mimicking human laughter/cry at times (depending on her finds)

Telepathic communications - thoughts that aren’t yours, to warn or answer you, and to update you regarding your goals/targets 

Visions - sometimes her messages may come in visions, and while it may get confusing, many times she is very precise in what she shows you. To eliminate any confusion you may right away open a full communication session with her, asking what does she mean, as she won’t hesitate to let you know, as long as you wish to do so.

Success in manifestations of intentions/goals can be noted with her 

She may show her full appearance in her own time, and you can right away tell she isn’t human, even though her overall appearance looks like one.

Her eyes are silver in colour, and they emanate a strange white light, as if they’re hollow behind. Her body is very slim, unnaturally slim compared to her more chubby cheeks and face, and she has some beautiful Asian features🥰✨

Her hair is fully black, and long to her ankles, and most of the time she will wear it on her face, unless you’ll tell her to adjust so you can have a look at her🤭

She wears a cream colour short gown and a shawl that looks like knitted, but stained or dirty in places. She is super bony and if she turns with the back, her gown is open and underneath that shawl you clearly see her spine, as if her whole back is hollow, with no meat no muscle😬 Also, she is tall, but not as tall as my other Pontianak, perhaps 1.90m or so. She will be very easy to recognise I believe, as she has a unique look about her😅
