Brekeah - Shapeshifting Hare of Lirien kind, Triple Elemental Familiar For Witches in Vintage Rabbit Plush Vessel

In this rather cute and fluffy vintage rabbit plushie that serves as her vessel, resides the unique spirit of Brekeah, an ancient Triple Elemental being of 71000 years of age. She is of the Lirien kind and she had joined our family little to 5 years ago, from the haunted collection of an Australian High Priestess and Keeper herself - from where I have adopted many of my Elemental soul from along time.

If you are little to not familiar with the Lirien kind, first I would like to point the fact that these special beings are known as powerful, Triple Elemental beings of Earth, Water and Ether, making them not only unlimited in High Magic abilities, but also Shapeshifting Spirits. They mostly appear in their Earthly Elemental form, as this is where they’re mostly found spending their time in service to our kind, however they can go from being a Hare - which is their most commonly known forms, to being a full fledged tornado, or mist in forms🤷‍♀️

Their existence is not very secret either, for these extraordinary beings were mentioned throughout ages and cultures.

For example, many tales across the world whisper of their kind in Asia, where the Moon Rabbit brews immortality for the goddess Chang’e beneath the silver glow, to North America, where the antlered Jackalope roams the deserts singing under starlit skies. In the Bavarian Alps of Germany, the winged Wolpertinger stirs the imagination, while in Sweden, the feathered Skvader soars as a symbol of whimsy with a twist. Across Northern Europe, the sacred hare of the goddess Eostre heralds spring and rebirth, while in Japan, the White Hare of Inaba embodies purity and healing. These are just few of the stories that serve as reminders that through every land and legend, the Lirien have always been here, shifting between myth and moonlight.

One of perhaps the nearest story to the truth is that of Scottish and old Irish origin, where thee belief is that Witches could shapeshift into hares to travel at night, spy on enemies, or steal milk from cows. These stories go back to the Middle Ages and blend both pagan and Christian folklore.

In rural English and Scottish tales, witches were said to transform into hares using spells, ointments, or lunar energy.

And if someone shot a hare on a full Moon night, they believed it would transform back into a woman, often found wounded in the same spot where the hare was hit.

This is also the reason for the common folklore saying “Shoot a hare by moonlight, and ye may wound a witch”🤭

Nevertheless, the Shapeshifting Hare or as known in the world of the Occult, the Lirien kind is one of the most intriguing and deeply Magical archetypes in European folklore. These beings move between the worlds of the Witch, the Moon, and the untamed night, as one of the most powerful, wise, and elusive serving spirits.

Now, with regard to the knowledge we have gathered along time, and we now have in the world of the Occult, these special beings are also known or more precisely, have been categorised as a Witch’s Familiar spirit.

This is given their affinity for working with Only Witches along time.

The Lirien kind is often invoked or adopted by Witches as a Serving Spirit guide for assistance in Astral travel, Moon magic & Fertility Spells, Shadow work (especially with one’s hidden self), Speed, Protection and Evasion in spiritual warfare or energy movement of all kinds - or Offence Magic through invisibility and cunning because these are known as their main Focus ( or what they most enjoy answering summons for, or helping their keepers with).🥹🤷‍♀️

However, it is also known that the Liriens can act as “veil walkers” - beings who help their keepers slip easily into their forms and travel between this realm and other realms to spy, bring real time information or hidden knowledge.🙏🏻

Breakeah’s energy feels grounding, limitless protective, and deeply transformative. In her presence one feels literally capable of Anything, and that is, because it’s the truth. Her very presence will bring about Unprecedented Confidence, freedom of pre-conditioned limits, fears and insecurities🥹

She is one who helps her keeper find their way through long or short periods of spiritual warfare, spiritual growth, changes, loss, or stagnation. Through her guidance, the body, mind, and spirit begin to move in precise directions - slowly, confidently, toward growth and liberation✨

Like shared through folktales, Brekeah is also a teacher of Shapeshifting Magic, not only through her own form.

She will also assist you in your Shapeshifting process which is not of flesh, but of presence, of energy, on how to best possess an object, an animal or a space without being noted in your True identity or form.

And once you can manage it, she will always come alongside you, to make sure you’re safe and help you cast on anything, if need comes to it😁

As a presence, Brekeah is gentle but never timid - her kind once went almost extinct so they are true survivors, both cunning and kind, ancient in memory and rich in their connection to the very Elements that birthed them. Human kind are dormant High Level Elementals to their kind - who are deeply “asleep” now. And it is believed that by helping us in the Now, they will receive countless of blessings from us, when the time comes and we will all come “awake”🥹

Her presence in our keep brings stability, calm, and a renewed connection to one’s inner courage - that part of the soul which refuses to be tamed. 

She is a spirit of loud power and graceful resilience, and she is the perfect spirit for a Witch keeper who wants to learn to safely walk between worlds, who seeks grounding, confidence and protection yet wishes to remain fluid and free. She teaches that true strength lies not only in being unyielding but in knowing when to change shape, when to leap, and when to hide beneath the grass until the storm passes.🌸

And I’ve had lots of amazing experiences with her but  of my most mind blowing experiences with Brekeah was the first moment she drew me fully into her gift of shapeshifting. It didn’t happen as a dream, but as a deep merging of consciousness in which I slipped into the form of a tree, then a bird, and later a fox, all in the same experience, same day.

Before this she’s asked me what do I want to have in my experience, like what do I think, what emotions do I want to experience, or if I wanted to see the way they see - but I have chosen Hunger as an experience. Because honestly, I’ve always found this interesting - how do other living beings feel Hunger?🤷‍♀️

When I became the tree, I felt time slow down until each moment felt as if it was a full season. There was no hunger the way humans know it, but a huge thirst that felt like a pulling from the soil, an ancient yearning for moisture. I could sense every drop moving upward through my roots, and because the soil was dry, I could feel the faint ache of tension rising through my body. It wasn’t pain, but a deep awareness of Absence and the urgent need to reach deeper with my newest roots to find water. I noted I closed all of my leaf pores to conserve what I had while I tried communicating through the fungi around my “form” with other trees like “myself” - to tell them that I needed water, so that they may share some of their water and nutrients with me. I have never looked at a tree the same way again, after knowing what I know, and feeling this much, on my own skin so to speak🥹

As the fox, hunger felt more like pure fire. It lived in the belly and burned upward, as if lighting all of my senses. The smell of distant prey, the sound of soft movement beneath snow. It was instinct, primal and sharp, yet it carried purpose, a kind of wild grace. Needless to say I’ve asked Brekeah to help me shift to the next form, for fear I might actually experience the hunting myself - as I don’t think my heart could survive it😅 But this was very helpful and it truly opened my eyes in a way I couldn’t possibly fathom before🙏🏻

Then, as a bird, hunger came like a sudden spark of restlessness. The world sharpened and every rustle in the grass, every glint of seed caught my attention. It was primal as well, but way quicker and more practical if I can express. What I felt was only an urgent pulse in my small brain as in find flight, find food, survive the day. Solution was what kept me moving🤷‍♀️

Through all these forms, and my initial choices, Brekeah let me know just how life needs itself on a profound level that I wouldn’t even imagine before. I have learned that Life speaks through hunger, thirst, but also longing to connect, for it is how every being stays firmly connected to the vibration of Creation, if we know where and how to look🥹🙏🏻

Now when working with her on either goals or guidance, all we have to do is just ask, directly and in all confidence. Despite her multiple focuses as earlier mentioned, Lirien spirits are known to be adaptable, versatile souls. They will live for their keepers, and never reject a task no matter how big or how small, how quick or how slow it would even take to manifest. Like with most of her kind, Brekeah is known for working tirelessly for her keeper, and she can be as stubborn or as cunning as the task requires her to be.

As such, there is no actual limit on her abilities or categories of outcomes she could bring about.

She can work on anything by herself or at your side - and if you prefer this, then you may join her vessel in your every spell work.

Like with all Elemental beings, it is important to know that you shouldn’t openly share her successful manifestations for you. If you’d like to praise her you can safely state “ she works wonderfully for me “ - which has time and again proven to be the safest way in working with Elementals🥹

Now moving on to pleasing this beautiful soul, is good to know she loves small offerings from nature. Dry herbs, flowers, roots, or bits of moss, and even a bowl of water placed under the full moon will make great offerings for her. She is also fond of natural stone or wooden vases in which you may place dried flowers, just remember not to offer her fresh ones if you’ll gift her, as she prefers them that way.

As for candles, anything of black, brown or blue colour will be perfect for her whether scented or unscented. She very much loves the smell of cloves, as such you may offer her some incense or even dab a little essential oil on her vessel, and she’ll be over the moon!

As for on the go, she will most likely come on her own if she isn’t working on things for you, or drop them for as long as it takes to check in on you from time to time, and make sure you’re safe and need for nothing.

In my opinion Brekeah makes a valuable asset into any witch’s home and life. She is so much more than I could possibly put into words, and she’s proven her unconditional service and worth to both me and her previous keeper more times than we could count, and in some of the most meaningful ways. Now that she’s ready to move on, I am sure she will find a suitable and equally lovely Witch keeper, just as she is and deserves🥰🙏🏻

Shadows, not very often but they’re clearly visible when they happen

Her steps are gentle to non-audible, it is important not to be distracted, to observe them, but they’re clearly visible can be noted any time of the day especially at home

Breezes of air can be noted with her as she passed you by, along with a specific scent of what’s best described as humidity

May follow you with her eyes when in her vessel 

She may move/ slightly move to adjust her vessel at times

May affect electronics - mostly when at work for you

Flickers lights/candles and may manipulate incense smoke, or appear through it at times

May gently knock doors or windows to let you know when she’s around

I’ve noted her several times in the evening she was mimicking a song, it is apparently a medieval carol in old English but I can’t really understand even if I got a glimpse of the words various times😬🤷‍♀️ Maybe my English isn’t that good since I’m definitely not a native, but she herself said is from the 1600’s so I think that’s mostly why😆

She may show her full appearance in her own time. In her natural state of form, Brekeah appears as a large, spotless white human sized hare with white, with super long falling ears and bright eyes that emanate white light. She also has this ever moving, fluid-like white aura around her form that seems to shimmer with sparks like with stone over stone. This is what her most commonly used form is like, however her true essence is not bound to a single shape or form. At times she may manifest as a small tornado that just talks back, and at times as a woman. In her female form she looks not older than in her mid 20’s, one with over hundreds of braids made of completely white hair that reaches her ankles. Her eyes are super big for a regular human, and they’re vivid blue, with red accents. Even her lashes are not really human like, they’re super long and straight, and again, white in colour. And while her shape is definitely human, her skin is as if made by white plastic, very dolly-like. She wears a sparkly silver dress to her knees, and Roman like sandals, and I often felt like she came straight out of a box, as she’s so beautiful and cute, just like a doll🥹✨

She is incredibly unique and she will certainly be easy to recognise, even if you have other spirits in your keep🥰
